Planning Your Perfect Maternity Photography Experience
When is the best time to Book a Maternity Session
As I am sure you know, babies are unpredictable! The sooner you reach out to me to schedule your session, the better. At least an hour is recommended to photograph a variety of images, but two hours is best for multiple locations, outfit changes, and incorporating your spouse in the photos as well! Don’t worry, dad, we’ve got you covered too!
Schedule Your Maternity Session at 29-33 Weeks
Depending on how you’re feeling, we will want to try to capture you during the peak of your pregnancy where you still feel comfortable and able to move around – preferably 29-33 weeks! But this varies from mama to mama, so you ultimately have the final say in what you think works best for your body and your baby!
What to Bring to Your Maternity Session
In order to make your session intimate and unique, a dramatic flowing maternity gown and fresh flowers make a perfect pair for your maternity session. I have a long list of recommendations for props, locations, and outfits – so don’t hesitate to ask me how to make your maternity session truly unique.
