When to Schedule a Newborn Session
As much as we would like to plan ahead, babies are unpredictable! Please be sure to contact me far in advance to set up your newborn’s session, preferably towards the last few weeks of your birth. However, please do not hesitate to contact me if your little one has already arrived.
Schedule Your Newborn Session 5-20 Days After Birth
If you are looking for those picture-perfect sleeping baby poses, then yes, staying within this time frame is suggested. This is because your baby is still curled, easier to pose, and very, very sleepy. Infants change so dramatically in such a short amount of time – you will be amazed how different your child looks at one month! Even with that being said, it’s never too late to have your newborn’s images taken.
What to Bring to Your Newborn Session
In order to make your session unique, I highly recommend taking the time to get a special outfit or two for your newborn’s session. I would be happy to go over what newborn props I have in my personal collection as well!
